Aloft Houston By The Galleria, Houston

We TRULY enjoyed our stay, and would gladly stay again. The biggest drawbacks were the parking garage (nightmare set up with the gates), and the low water pressure, being on the 7th floor. The staff went out of their way to be helpful, friendly, and it made the trip exceptional. Thanks again!

Liked: The staff was superb - incredibly helpful, friendly and professional; the room was outstanding - clean, well appointed, slick, modern; the hotel was extremely close to a ton of Houston attractions!
Disliked: The water pressure in the hotel (on the 7th floor) was disappointing, and the parking garage was a bit of a nightmare to navigate.

Liked: The staff was really friendly. I always felt warmly greeted. Everyone was really helpful.
Disliked: Nothing at all. I enjoyed my time. While I was there for a conference downtown, the hotel was still very easily accessible

Liked: I liked the location everything was less than 10 minutes away.
Disliked: Didn't have access to the apps on the tv apparently internet was being worked on for days so didn't get to watch tv the days we stayed, but I think they should have told us that at check-in. The first room they assigned us to had SEVERAL problems, a huge crack on the window, shower door opened inward instead of outward (normal), knob on shower handle was broken, keys only worked for 1 day. I chose this property because I never experienced any issues until this time.

Liked: Staff at the desk were nice and friendly. The game room.
Disliked: Shower was dirty. Bed was hard. Pillows were hard. Could hear the traffic on the street. Ceilings were cracked. Ceiling in my daughters room had what looked like mold.

Good

Liked: I loved the location as it was right up the street from the Galleria and in close proximity to plenty of sports bars and lounges. The bottom level bar area seems nice also.
Disliked: I felt it was overpriced due to the need of some serious upgrades. The room I had didn’t have a couch or anything and you could see a lot of visible wear and tear to the building. The rooms really jus had a cold and weird feeling
