Aloft Harlem is a nice hotel at a competitive price. The staff are friendly and real without that veneer of phoniness you get at a lot of other places. I would stay again if I needed a place in the area.

Liked: Nice room and bathroom with lots of sunlight. Staff is helpful and competent without being nosy or obsequious.
Disliked: No room service available.

Liked: Very helpful and friendly staff. Room was very clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in at a hotel. I would recommend this hotel and would stay again if in the area.

Disliked: Steep steps to get down to the lobby area; lack of bathtub

It was alright.

Liked: I liked the location of the property, the rooms were clean the layout was a bit odd though. When you come in you see the toilets first.
Disliked: I booked thinking I had breakfast included that’s what writing in my confirmation. But they told me at the reception breakfast was not included. I was also charged way more than my bill and was told I would be refunded only about half was refunded.
