Bitter sweet

Liked: It was in a great location and beautiful even with the hurricane happening just the day before. The Bar and its staff was extremely nice and very helpful!
Disliked: For the price and room I was given there no microwave. I paid for the corner suite for the price I should have had the balcony suite. The shady that checked me in was rude with absolutely no personality and not helpful at all.

Interesting Stay w/ Some Flaws

Liked: The location is great and so were all the people we dealt with. Overall it was a clean stay, despite the dogs everywhere. We like the funky 4th floor with the games and music, even though it was night club-loud. The bar and restaurant are a big bonus and the food was pretty good with great prices (the hummus lacked any flavor though, and the bucket of it they provided was way too much for the little bit of things they gave to dip in it).
Disliked: The lighting situation in the room was terrible. Just turning on 1 “small light” (like the bathroom) lit up the whole darn room.There was some sort of irregular beep in the room all the time. We can’t say for sure, but it sounded like it was the AC unit? It was really, really irritating that affected the sleep of all 4 of us. The bathroom door had no lock and kept sliding open on its own no matter what we did to keep it closed. The conditioner bottle was empty in the shower. These things above are unsatisfactory for a hotel charging $300/night.The foods in the cafe: 1) The BEC sandwich was VERY greasy. 2) The oatmeal was soupy. 3) The waffle was over-the-top sweet, and my husband didn’t even put the syrup or the Nutella on it. 4) The egg chorizo wrap barely had any egg and had WAY too much chorizo — heavy & greasy.
