Loved the decor - it was upbeat as soon as you walk in the door! Greeted by outgoing staff, great music and funky designed spaces. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The mattress and sheets were so soft! Loved that the room had an AC control that actually let us make it as cool as we wished and black out shades so we could sleep in. Bliss spa prodcuts provided in the room was such an added bonus. We will definitely be staying at Aloft again in our future travels!

Very interesting decor; really comfortable king sized mattress; lobby/bar area awesome; great pod chairs!

Liked: Clean; comfy; great price; great complimentary coffee.
Disliked: Heat/air controls were a little off.

Hotel is nice, like better...

Disliked: We a couple checked in late in the evening and there were only one set of towels and bottle of water.

My experience was terrible.

Liked: I did not eat the breakfast
Disliked: I seen roaches. The toilet bowl did not fill up high enough. The cable TV did not work. The maid came every other day.

Convenient, relatively affordable, good location...

Liked: The room is small but workable for two people. The air conditioning worked well and the bed and shower were nice. Good lighting, nice view. Good location to Manhattan and a nice area in Brooklyn. Right by an amazing bodega / deli that is open late and wonderful.
Disliked: The TV remote / TV was difficult, not sure if we should've asked for a replacement but it seemed more so like the TV was on a delay that was frustrating to navigate to a specific channel. The bathroom door also didn't work well - it was barn door style but the bathroom vanity made it so you got trapped in the water closet area of the bathroom sometimes. The lobby was under construction when we were there so I'm sure that'll be much nicer for future guests!

Liked: Pleasant adequate room. Comfortable bed.
Disliked: Some of the reception staff were not very welcoming or helpful. I felt that I was treated as an inconvenience when asking questions.I would have expected complimentary toiletries including face flannels and paper cups to be restocked during my stay.
