This could be such an amazing place. But the rooms, whilst really nice, are pricey. Bar prices really put you off. But biggest issue whilst we were there were the lifts. Three lifts for guests, two of which weren't working when we arrived. The following morning, the third lift was taken out of use, leaving guests to either walk 5/6 floors up/down the stairs, or use the 'staff' lift; cleaners trying to use this lift, and a complete circus trying to get in/get out. I'd really love this place to put everything right, but wouldn't book again until they have. Sorry!

Liked: The rooms, the layout and 'vibe'. Restaurant/breakfast also very clean and sharp - food very tasty.
Disliked: Snack bar and main bar prices completely extortionate - £25 for a bog-standard bottle of house white being one of many examples. Biggest issue - the lifts!

Worth the stay

Liked: The interior and decor is bright and inviting and the location is right by town so that is nice that you don’t have to travel to get to the city centre.The rooms are clean and spacious . My friend and I stayed at the top floor with a lovely view of the city in the evening time with all the lights. I will definitely be returning.Lastly, the staff were very welcoming smiley and friendly and were there for any problems if we needed any support with anything .
Disliked: The o my thing was that’s the door lock on our room was faulty and maybe if robes and slippers could be introduced with the room , that would be a plus

Disliked: Evening meal at the restaraunt, one of the main meals was very oily (greasy). Which my partner ended up not eating but we were not even offered a refund or alternative on the meal. In addition to that, the service was quite slow with having only 2 waiters/waitresses on the restaraunt floor

Liked: The cleanliness of the room, very clean on arrival and super comfy. I am a very particular person with OCD, so I struggle when staying away from home and was anxious prior to coming. But on walking into the hotel, the lobby was area was also very clean and welcoming, and this was carried out throughout the facilities. The added breakfast was a nice touch also, and it made the whole experience even better.
Disliked: There isn't anything I didn't like about the hotel, other than there wasn't parking available. But this is pretty much everywhere now, unless it's outside of the city.
