Exceptional

Liked: Nice and helpful staff.
Disliked: Air-conditioning wasn't working, and it was not heating in the room. They gave us a small electric radiator.

Good

Liked: The room was lovely and clean and warm and perfect for what we needed.
Disliked: I didn't like the fact that the people who used the room before had spilt something on the chair and I only discovered this when I sat on it and got soaking wet! Obviously not the hotels fault though.

Liked: The location was excellent for what we wanted to do in Bristol with good access to the motorway.Lovely breakfast and the option to be able to eat at Almondsbury Inn in the evening was good, without the need to go elsewhere at the end of a long day. However the dining room lacked atmosphere.
Disliked: Our double room was exceptionally small and lacked facilities. There was no wardrobe or storage space and nowhere to sit, apart from the bed. A small shelf next to the bed would also have been useful. There was a lot of dust and dirt in one of the corners that we saw and all of the glass surfaces in the bathroom were smeared and dirty.The dining room / lounge didn't offer a nice environment during the day due to staff members using it as an office and either talking across the room to each other or on the telephone.

Liked: What a great surprise. So many hotels in this area don't live up to their pictures. This is a great little hotel. Very modern, comfy rooms, lovely staff. Just very pleased and will be sure to stay again.
Disliked: Nothing at all. Highly recommend.

not worth it and too...

Liked: the young checking in lady was helpful, but had to call her supervisor to change our room. they were both very professional
Disliked: the mattress was very uncomfortable, the pillows were old and very tatty. the bathroom was dirty. there were dead bugs, cobwebs, lots of dust and some green leaves behind the door. the towel rail was full of dust. the bathroom door wouldn't close as it's so warped from the water.
