Lovely stay
Liked: I loved the location. It was very easy to walk a short distance to the centre of Vienna and to many of the attractions. The bed was super comfortable and the room nice and quiet for a good sleep.

A complete failure that advertises...
Liked: Location and Bed
Disliked: Room Service:Problems began right away. We ordered avocado toast with salmon+poached egg, promised in 20 min. It arrived after ca 1h cold and soggy (cold poached egg is inedible/ bread was wet from the avocado). The portion was tiny and overpriced, even for a 5-star hotel. Staff were rude and unprofessional./TV & Entertainment Issues:TVs are mounted off to the side—unwatchable from both bed and couch. They can’t be tilted, and this applies to all rooms, per front desk. Internet didn’t work, so no Netflix or Comcast. To watch anything, you’d have to stand directly in front of the TV—right in front of the closet./Unresponsive Staff Communication:Staff rarely follow up unless you call multiple times. Concierge was a prime example: we made a dinner request at 9am, heard nothing by noon, called again, still delayed, called at 2pm—still nothing. We gave up and made our own bookings. Extremely unprofessional for a “luxury” hotel./ Spa Area:Only six lounge chairs total, despite this being a large hotel. The space was messy, with wet towels left around. On the first night, both the sauna and steam room were cold and unusable. They worked later, but the first impression was poor./ Breakfast:The breakfast downstairs was worse than the room service. Entry was cluttered with cleaning supplies. Staff were inattentive. Our table was missing utensils and glasses. No tray for tea bags, leaving a cluttered mess on the table./ Broken Phone: Our room phone was broken—hanging out of the socket. It still worked for calls, but gave a rundown, careless feel that contradicts any claim of “luxury.”/ Check-In Experience: Previously, we were granted complimentary early check-in. Since my new flight arrives very early, early check-in is enough to overlook other flaws. But when I tried to rebook, I was told I’d be charged €50/hour before 3 PM. For 8am check-in, that’s €650—more than the nightly rate of €396.

A relaxing weekend break for...
Liked: Got in late on Friday night and was delighted to hear that breakfast is served from 7am to 2pm. It meant a great sleep was had in huge comfortable bed without the worry of sleeping in and missing breakfast.... finally awakened at 12.30pm (the blackout blinds were super), well rested and ready to enjoy breakfast without feeling rushed. We were given an room upgrade on check-in and found a lovely amenity in the room with personalised note - nice touch and greatly appreciated.Shops, bars and restaurants all just a short walk from the hotel (if you don't want to use the hotels facilities), catering to a variety of menus and budgets. The metro / trams and transport options are all accessible from the front of the hotel.
Disliked: I didn't like having to check out at the end of my stay.... would have loved to stay longer.
