Clean and delightful family-run Victorian...

Liked: Just a lovely, traditional Victorian guesthouse run by a hardworking family. Incredibly welcoming and clear about systems of ordering breakfast. Off street parking and on street parking around the side. Amazing double glazing in the room which shut out car traffic. Clean bedrooms and a clever ‘hidden’ en-suite (looks like a wardrobe).
Disliked: Not really relevant - it is a Victorian guesthouse with ceiling roses, pastel yellow on the walls and patterned carpets in keeping with the historical period. If you want a more modern room/stay, then this isn’t for you. However, it was exceptionally clean and the beds weren’t too hard or too soft; the breakfast was great and the owners polite and welcoming.

Nice little bed and breakfast

Liked: Room was a good size for a family. It was clean and tidy overall. Host put the heating on for us and told us how to turn off. Breakfast was lovely. Host was friendly and had a lot of local knowledge. Good location and just a short drive to our event.
Disliked: Bathroom was clean but could do with new shelf and mirror as lots of visible rust. Furniture in the room could also use an upgrade but bedding was clean and fresh. Good value for money for a last minute short stay. Not a lot of parking as on a main road but luckily managed to squeeze down the side of the property.

Liked: The welcome and very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was all cooked very well and to our requirements.
