Disliked: AC was not working properly, I was hot with a slow fan also. AC kept switching off and wasn’t cooling at all. Mosquitoes in the room. Had a terrible sleepless night

Worst experience in an Australian...

Disliked: I should have read reviews by other guests and giving more importance to the low score before booking this studio. That's why I write this review. Yes, there was an awful smell in the rooms coming from the toilets. There are not views from the windows, and the room was poorly lit, but in addition, there is a constant and unbearable noise that comes from an engine or equipment within the building or nearby. Management was aware of the problem and the choice you have, once there, after negotiation, is to cancel your reservation.While the property is well located in the city, do not expect to have proper rest in this place. Also, as noted by other clients, there is no personal in the hotel, you enter the property and the studio using codes. My original codes did not work and I had a hard time getting new codes by phone. There is no one in the building to enforce the rules, so you are basically on your own if something happens. Due to the disturbing noise in the room, I tried to change the room but the persons on the phone needed authorization from the manager who was unreachable (twice) or so they said. Summarizing, unless you are planning a one-night stay, going to bed late after the engine has stopped and waking up early, and you don't care about stinky, noisy, and lack of cleaning accommodation, I really do not recommend this place.

Liked: Close to light rail. Fridge was a good size.Felt safe and secure in the room. Also accommodation was close to Civic Theatre which was just one stop on light rail.
Disliked: There appeared to be old blood stains on the carpet in front of fridge and also a few centimetres left of the fridge.
