Disliked: Hard to find the way! Traffic regs - simple instructions needed. The hotel is visible but the route is a puzzle

Best of both world! Near...

Liked: The location couldn't have been any better - best of both worlds! Why we say that? It's because it's very close to the central train station and the bus terminals, hence convenient when taking public transportation, for example we have arrived from Geneva by train. But it's also super close to the main attractions including the Old Town - by foot it's less than 5 minutes. Surrounding areas are great for shopping, eating out and talking a walk. Hotel itself is very clean and modern. Rooms are super conformable, cozy and fitted with modern amenities. Stuffs are friendly and helpful. It's a great value for money and we would definitely recommend and come back again.
Disliked: We liked everything about the stay, hence, no complains. Would have liked it even better if the rooms had a mini refrigerator but we were allowed to use the common one at the reception bar area.

Nice hotel in the centre...

Liked: The hotel is very close to both the Centre ville and train station.Rooms are very well maintained and the cleaning was impeccable.
Disliked: The room is too small for the money we spend, this is not a cheap hotel and you can over hear the other rooms conversations. Some basic amenities like kettle, laundry bags are missing.And the main disappointment was the check-in time which is 16h00. They don't allow early check-in even at 15h00.

Liked: Decor in the room and reception areas nice and facilities are clean.
Disliked: 1. The air quality is a problem. The air conditioners are disconnected currently. because it is not necessary this time of year, to cool things down, they say! So one cannot control the temperature of the room. plus, it seems, no fresh air or filtered oxygen-rich air is coming into the rooms! This is really worrying, in winter especially, because of flu and Covid viruses circulating! The only option to guests is to put the radiators on or off for heat! Or if you feel too hot or stuffy, to open the windows, which then brings the street noise up into your bedroom, enough not to sleep well at all! We tried to speak to the receptionist/front of house lady, who then called her male colleague to speak to us. They did not apologise for our discomfort, but he in particular, kept trying to defend the hotel's decision to disconnect the aircon! We believe it is a cost consideration and not an environmental one! Also, it is currently warmer than in November normally.2. There are no kettles in the rooms! So for your first cup of morning coffee, you need to go to the breakfast room to collect it. Even if you do not want to eat the full buffet breakfast for 12 euros per person from 6.30am. Otherwise there is room delivery service at a cost, but from a later hour than 6.30am. A free coffee/tea station is however available on the first floor in the late afternoon until 9pm. So not for the morning period when they serve a paid for breakfast in the breakfast room. This hotel seems to be very patronising and dictatorial in its approach! :-(:-(
