Wonderful Hotel in a historic...
Liked: Stayed in the area for some days during my nothern German road trip and decided for this Hotel in Sterup, which has some long history, which you also learn about as part of the Hotels design, hosting travelers ever since. Everything was super clean and the room equipped with some wonderful old furniture, the owners having a good eye for details. In case one stays there, just don't go to your room, also walk around in this historic building and you will find some incredible surprises, like old wall paintings and others ... I just don't want to spoil it. I for sure will pick again this Hotel being in the area.

Ok for one night
Liked: Ok for one night, but small room on the top floor with no elevator. Slanting ceiling so not much room to stand upright. Did not see any drawing room or garden. Good breakfast. Parking right outside which was free.

Liked: Nice coffee and filling breakfast. Trusting staff, came in a bit late but it was no problem.

Noisy and no good sleep
Liked: You could get the room key without anyone being in the reception (key in a safe).
Disliked: Not soundproof, you could hear everything from the street (many cars in such a small village) and every step from others in the building. The beds made sound as soon as you moved just a little. The breakfast cost extra, about 15.
