Welcoming & warm, great food...

Liked: Staff were exceptional, very welcoming, went the extra mile. Great food and beer. Huge room and lovely rainfall shower. Games on the tables were a brilliant touch helping to pass the time until the food arrived on a busy night for the restaurant.
Disliked: It’s extremely noisy, and probably not the best pick for young families due to this. I would recommend possibly asking for a room at the back of the hotel if you have kids. The staff kindly turned the music in the restaurant down, but then the noise from revellers, locals beeping their horns, traffic/taxis, then the guest upstairs pacing the floor for half the night, it wasn’t a great night sleep-wise. The room was really hot as the radiators were on full when we arrived. We’d usually love the warmth but it really was too hot unfortunately. We had to keep opening the sash window to make the room cooler but then would have to close it again due to the noise. It’s a centrally placed hotel but we probably stayed on one of the busier nights in town (Saturday).

Liked: Very friendly staff. Room was large and warm.Facilities excellent. Breakfast tasty. Even posted a forgotten clothing item back to us.
