Wouldn't stay again
Liked: Location, and nice area
Disliked: Heating didn't work for a few hours . .this did get resolved... Shower water was only warm for 3 to 4 minutes so only one of us could have a shower .

The lakes
Liked: The location was really good, right in the middle of Windermere. Close to plenty of shops, pubs, and restaurants. Excellent information on arrival. The room was a really good size. I just need to watch your head for the low ceiling. Toilet not being in the room was not an issue for us.
Disliked: The bed was hard.

Very good
Liked: Perfect location for a trip to the lake district…less than a minute walk to the train station and close to restaurants in the area. Staff was so kind and friendly.
