Bit tired in places, lovely...

Liked: Location good, on the surface good looking hotel on the approach, communal corridors and bedroom clean and neat
Disliked: Using the leisure facilities, the hot tub was dirty, there was dirt and grit in the bottom the headrests all showed varying degrees of mould, there was also a 2or 3 inch scum line on the edges. In our room the shower door was sticking in the bottom corner and it felt like it might break on trying to open it, also the loo roll holder was broken. This is not a spa hotel, it’s a hotel that happens to have a pool and gym and treatments available. There were no loungers by the pool and it was full of locals getting their daily exercise in, so much so there was a queue to use the pool. The restaurant food was a bit under par, a sharing platter had hardly anything on it and no bread. The continental breakfast was a fair offering and staff happy to replenish anything that was running low even when close the end of breakfast times. Not the ‘spa’ experience we expected, but had a pleasant time.

Disliked: Decor was gloomy grey in the hotel generally and no pictures in bedroom which would have lightened it.
