Liked: Standard double room was fairly small, but the bathroom was large, with an excellent shower. Staff are very friendly and efficient. Good choices for breakfast which was also very nice.
Disliked: Nothing to fault.

Disliked: Couldn't see the gardens from the windows

Liked: We loved all of it, from the drive up to the hotel, the setting and scenery... the decor of the hotel and rooms was stunning. We changed our dinner plans to eat in the hotel as the menu looked fab.. it did not disappoint, the service at every interaction was exceptional. We felt so well looked after and cannot wait to stay again!
Disliked: Nothing!

Very relaxing comfortable stay in...

Liked: Beautiful period house with lovely grounds. Situated within walking distance of Cromford and shirt drive to Matlock.

Liked: Beautiful old house with an interesting history. Staff lovely and helpful. Food at breakfast and dinner was great - fresh, tasty and plenty. Our room was large, clean and comfortable.
Disliked: Would have preferred a bath - some rooms do have them. Our room was on the first floor of a conversion with a view over the courtyard/carpark. A window in the back wall of the room, to have a view over the fabulous gardens, would be lovely.

We'll be back (again!)
