Liked: Food evening meal excellent and great value stayed in both nights for this, great menu choice. Breakfast cooked fresh to your request, very nice , would liked more fresh fruit salad , and different yoghurt and danishes, as one of family doesn't eat cooked full English options. But that's personal opinion.Staff are very attentive. It is a very peaceful hotel, not hustle and bustle.Quaint setting.
Disliked: Room service on 2nd day didn't replenish toilet rolls and straighten room/ bathroom

Lovely stay, gorgeous rooms, great...

Liked: Gorgeous rooms. Friendly welcome. Great location, only a couple of miles from Matlock and 20 mins or so to Chatsworth which is what we were in the area for. Lovely breakfast.
Disliked: Water temperature in the shower was a bit tricky to get right but that’s literally the only negative, and wasn’t a big issue at all.
