Comfortable stay near Paddington.

Liked: Good location from Paddington National Rail and underground. Nice size room and comfortable.
Disliked: A little disappointed with breakfast as I went at 7am a few times and not much was ready and had to wait. Not much of a selection but passable

Absolute disaster, health and safety...

Liked: They took my money then told me they were fully booked and I was being sent over the road in an unfinished building. The corridors had building supplies in, no marked fire exits, the fire door at he top of the stairs was wedged open, the door to the back of the building locked so only one exit via the front door. The window in my room was locked so no exit in an emergency tv and telephone didnt work. What if there was an emergency. Health and safety nightmare. I think I was the only person there so no help available. wifi not working in either building and I am a business client who needs wifi to work. I had to go to Paddington station to send emails.The inclusive breakfast was not available at 7 am as advertised. The staff were seen playing on their phones, ignoring clients, all of whom were complaining. It started to be slowly laid out at 7.30 by which time most business travellers were leaving.All in all an absolute disastrous and potentially dangerous stay and I won't be going back.

Disliked: 4th floor room with no elevator, it's not very convenient. Breakfast is a bit poor.

Would not return, not good...

Liked: When we arrived we got checked in quick and effectively. However, when you check in you usually expect at least a smile from the person behind reception, this was not the case, the same when we checked out. The bathroom door in our room had no lock and on there was yellow stains on one of the walls in the bathroom. There seemed to be, black mold or similar on the ceiling in the bathroom as well, and there was a unpleasant smell. My sister accidentally dragged her finger under the soap dispenser (where you push to get the soap) and was left with black residue under her nails. The toilet did not flush properly either, we managed to flush it on day one but for the rest of the day it did not flush, it was only the day after that we were able to do it again (with some effort!)The light in the hallway in our room did not work and in the corner of the wardrobe in the hallway there was a ball of dust. The cushions were very flat and hard and there was no duvet for either of the beds (no extra pillows or duvets available in the room either). The radiator was on warm and there was no way for us to adjust this or turn it off, we opened the window but this didn’t help a lot. The street outside was nice and quiet and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to.We could hear everything that happened in the room above us. We could hear every step they took, whenever they put something down and when they had a conversation. This was very disturbing, especially when we tried to sleep. For the money we paid for one night I would not recommend this hotel and I will absolutely not return.

Liked: Location is pretty good.
Disliked: Way too pricy for what it has to offer. And the breakfast, bread ,jam and egg?? No fruits no veggies, the muesli tasted old, never had such a bad breakfast. If its considered english breakfast, well then its better hot to gave it at the hotels and get something proper to eat at the danish bakery ...

Liked: The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was satisfactory. Although the room was small, it was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was in good condition. The hotel is conveniently located just a five-minute walk from Paddington Station, a major Underground hub providing easy access to various parts of London. As a budget hotel, it offers basic amenities, so expectations should be moderate; however, everything was well-organized and in proper order.
Disliked: The hotel comprises two sections, one of which is equipped with an elevator, while the other is not. Please note that the shower floor can be slippery, so caution is advised.

Exceptional

Warm place but my expectations...

Liked: The breakfast was good and I felt well in the room.
Disliked: There was no hot water in the morning. No wifi during my stay.
