A wonderful stay in Winona.

Liked: What a wonderful stay. Richard and David were both absolutely delightful. A beautiful trip through history. The rooms are stunning, the host a treasure and the food was fabulous! I highly recommend it and we would definitely stay there again.

Elegant, Elevated, and Friendly.

Liked: The host Richard is amazing and charming, as is the mansion. Breakfast is homemade and grand. This is a place to go for getting away from the wired world so to meet people and get to know a place. All the little touches add up to more than the sum of their parts. And the wallpaper is beautiful!

Liked: 5 coarse breakfast was exceptional! And ice cream for dessert! What's not to love??Jealous that the neighbors get Richard to be their neighbor! He was soo kind and helpful to all the guest..especially a woman from out of state picking up her new puppy...telling her directions,giving her confidence, etc.
Disliked: Didn't like that it was too chilly to enjoy the beautiful front porch!But it is November!

Liked: Richard the owner was so attentive to all the details. We felt at home, comfortable and well cared for. The breakfast was 5 course, very leisurely with enjoyable conversation.
