Liked: Good location. Right by the train station.
Disliked: A bit noisy. While I didn’t use the spa features, the fitness room was basically non-existent.

Comfortable, clean, convenient and basic

Liked: The room was small but had everything that one could ask for (and it was exactly as advertised). The room was spotless, and the bed comfortable.
Disliked: The neighborhood, while extremely convenient, is a bit down at the heels. That said, the two Marseille metro lines converge at the station directly across the street, where the main train and bus stations are both located.

The hotel was perfect for...

Liked: The hotel was in a perfect location, after a long flight and train trip to France. It was well run. The staff was helpful and the rooms were of good size since we stayed only one night. Beds very comfortable but we did not have the offered breakfast.The next morning we walked two blocks to the rental car and were on our way.Convenient and very reasonably priced place to stay for travelers.
Disliked: Our room required two elevator trips because we were in the back building, at our request to be quiet.

Exceptional

Suited our needs down to...

Liked: The location was perfect for us both arriving and departing from St Charles rail station only a few hundred yards from the hotel.It was around a 10/15 minute walk to The Old Port which is probably the main area for restaurants etc. The staff at every level could not be faulted for their friendly and helpful manner.
Disliked: No real cribs although for those looking for a hot breakfast there was no variety each day being the same over our five days however there was always an excellent selection of pastries and the like for those favouring or happy with a continental style with nice seating and real attention to cleanliness etc.

Disliked: Hotel ordered taxi for transport airport and advised around £60 pound but had to pay £85

Very friendly staff, super clean...

Liked: The rooms were very clean and the hotel is super close to the main train station. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful at any time!
Disliked: There was a chemical smell in the room, I guess because of the cleanser. It wasn’t bothering us, but it could.
