Superb location, a jewel of...
Liked: It’s a lovingly renovated Georgian jewel of a building, brought back to life with so many authentic, carefully chosen details

Disappointing
Liked: The property has been stylishly restored and is in a great location with sea views and easy walk to Ramsgate beach and harbour. Staff were very pleasant. Excellent dinner in restaurant.
Disliked: Had been excited to see the outcome of the renovations as former local residents but were disappointed as the hotel is overhyped & overpriced. Tatty decor, dirty public areas, very small overheated room. Slow service in restaurant. Misinformed about time for breakfast and missed out

Perfect Beach Stay
Liked: The room was a good size as was the bathroom, the bed was very comfortable. All staff were very pleasant and helpful. This is in a great position close to the beach and town plus it has beautiful views from the lounge and dining rooms. Unfortunately we didn’t use the dining room but menus looked good. I would highly recommend it for a stay in Ramsgate.
Disliked: The lighting in the bedroom and bathroom was a bit dull but a small issue only.

Great location, comfy bed, great...
Liked: Fabulous location, smart, well renovated with charming common spaces, lounges and bar area. Very comfortable bed and smart bathroom with great shower and lovely toiletries.
Disliked: We tried to upgrade our room, as it was unbearably hot in the attic room, but despite the hotel being almost empty, we weren't able to. There was no wifi during our stay and when the reception staff have left, nobody in the bar knew the password. There is a 4th floor walk up to the tiny, attic rooms. We would have dined in the hotel, but they were only serving roast dinners on a very warm August evening. Shame, as the lounge bar and dining area looked great.
