It's not a 4-star stay,...

Liked: The front desk did an amazing job deflecting complaints from an extremely sound, nuisance level party. I am 64 and came here to relax before a heart operation. The idiot who held the party after 2000 should lise his or her job. There was no warning, no common sense at all. The hotel is supposed to be 4 stars. Our room was missing a large wooden door to the clothes closet. The bathroom door looked like a dog and spent a week scratching at it. This room we rented needs to be remodeled, furniture doors, table, and chairs replaced. If this was a normal hotel, in the slums, I could understand. But this is supposed to be a 4-star hotel. NOT.. If it were not for the front of the house personal, their kindness, and their remorse, we would have walked out. No apologies were ever given. Nothing. It was as if the large party was more important than the guests staying there. When I booked this location, I advised the front desk, I need rest as I had an upcoming operation. They assured me that the stay would be memorable. It's memorable, however, for the wrong reasons. We did have a very nice breakfast, but the supper meal we had was plain, not a 4 star meal. Our second night, we ate at a local restaurant and had superb food and dining experience. But not at this establishment. We took several pictures of the room we stayed at along with our meal at supper. We could continue, but our complaints to the establishment went unanswered. We even recorded the noise in the room from the party. Again, I believe the function coordinator did a great job for the party, but the manager of the hotel, 4 star hotel, neglected and was negligent in his her duties to the non party guest. Again a total lie we believed. I suggest that when dealing as a private guest, take what the hotel proprietor says with a grain of salt.
Disliked: We did not like not having our observations, observation answered, and we do not like being lied to.

Liked: The room is big enough for us to open our luggage and organize it. The toilet is pretty good with big tub in there. And the service is quite good and the parking space is good enough
