Liked: The location was within walking distance of all the things I wanted to do or see. The staff were very pleasant and provided great recommendations for local restaurants.
Disliked: The hotel is close to the university area and a piazza where, of course, people gather in the evening. However, the staff was very accommodating in putting me in a quiet room

I small and charming hotel, friendly staff, lovely breakfast, comfortable room in a central location

Liked: The breakfast was lovely with a wide variety of choices and all the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel is very central and it's easy to reach everything in the city. The hotel staff gave us a list of good restaurants to try in all price categories which was really helpful. They make lovely coffee as one would expect in Italy.
Disliked: On first approaching the hotel we noticed a lot of graffiti in the streets around it but we learned that this can be attributed to the high number of students around...many of who were in and around the square nearby, but the overall atmosphere in the area was very good vibrant.
