In the heart of Florence's historic center Albergo Firenze lies in Piazza Donati just steps off of the main Via del Corso where one can easily reach the Florence Dome Piazza della Signoria square and the Uffizi. Albergo Firenze is set in a medieval tower house originally occupied by the Donati noble family where Gemma Donati Dante Alighieri's wife was born. Average - good location but...

Liked: The location is good and breakfast reasonable. The shower facilities room size in general was good.
Disliked: The walls are thin - very noisy outside. There isn’t much lighting in the room it’s very dimly lit. Odd system where you have to leave your keys at the front desk even if you go to the shops for 10 mins.

Great Stay

Liked: Hotel was very well located, near to all the major tourist spots but because of that it can get a little loud in the nights. Room was bigger that average and bed was very comfortable. Staff was very nice.
