Would definitely Recommend
Liked: It’s a warm cozy homie place, very convenient and close to ski resort. We had a pleasant stay. Would definitely consider coming back. Nice owner and friendly staff. Spacious and clean room. We like it a lot.

Don’t bother going here unless...
Liked: Not much.
Disliked: The rooms were:1. Dark. It was hard to see, get dressed, put on makeup, find things. There is no overhead light which would be easily remedied by adding one to the ceiling fan which is already there. Also, all the lamps have dim bulbs in them. Very frustrating trying to do anything except sleep. 2. Not clean. Dust accumulated on various places around the room. 3. TV was an aggravating situation. Previous occupants didn’t sign out of their streaming accounts and the roku in the room was tricky to figure out because of this. Signage/instructions would have helped. 4. Unless you are skiing or hiking, there is nothing to do in this area. We struggled to find things to do and were bored. The towns (Windham, Hunter, Tannersville, Palenville) are run down and shabby and the few gift shops we did find were sloppy and just strange or limited. 5. We did enjoy driving the scenic byways in the area but they were really hard to find due to lack of clear signage anywhere. The scenery was beautiful, particularly when we were there in October with the leaves changing color. One good thing at least on this wasted trip to Nowheresville USA. 6. We left early and took backroads to Woodstock to end our trip which turned out to be the best part of our entire trip. The scenery from Windham to Woodstock in one particular area was hands down one of the most spectacular mountain scenery I’ve ever seen, and the village of Woodstock was really fun.

This B&B is a great...
Liked: The breakfasts are really good and reasonably priced. They offer free coffee, 50 types of teas, and water all during the day. You get a choice of 5 or 6 hot egg dishes, as well as coffee cakes, banana breads, mueslis, yogurt. The food is well prepared and service is friendly and welcoming. Bed is comfortable and the shower was good. Everything is well maintained but not new.
Disliked: The lighting in my room (Room 1) could have been brighter. They also do not offer daily housekeeping.

We only booked one night,...
Liked: The photos of the room definitely represented the room. I've been to places that are like dating apps. Reality is less than what is being represented by the photo. The owner made GF banana bread was crazy good, and the free coffee was some of the best tasting coffee we ever had. (We bought some of both to bring home.)
Disliked: The breakfast menu could have included a few more varieties of choices. We had the choice of scrambled eggs with different toppings.
