Liked: Very quiet and relaxing environment. The bed is comfortable. You can choose what you want to eat for breakfast. It's also possible to get a drink and dinner here, so you don't have to go out in the evening if you don't want to.

Epic getaway

Liked: location, rooms, food, views, dining room, comfortable lounge and fabulous host family. The stay was excellent value and the food on offer was well prepared.
Disliked: too short a stay!

Great and peaceful place for...

Liked: The place is a hidden gem. Great comfortable rooms, exceptional views of the lakeside location, true nature around, night sky with starts is amazing thanks to no light pollution around. The fireplace in the lobby just lovely - spent all my 3 nights there chilling. But the most adorable are the owners - they really care and made me feel like I belong there. The breakfast food was in fact home made; though I'm not a fan of american-diner-style cusine, this was something special and I was surprised by the variety offered. And the bar, of course. You can truly feel that this place is run with great love. Totally recommend and will go there again if visiting Maine next time. And yes, in summer, canoe and boat rides are offered!
Disliked: Can't think of anything. Just wanted to stay there for more.

Liked: Super friendly and hospitable staff! Easy to communicate and well taken care of clean rooms. A perfect beautiful retreat on the most pristine lake with all the amenities, plus free boat usage, cozy fireplaces, games, books, and three delicious meals (with many options) offered at very fair prices.
