Disappointing

Beautiful relaxing oasis to enjoy...

Liked: Beautiful hotel, roof top and amazing breakfast! The spa is a must! The location is perfect! The staff dealt with the issue noted below very swiftly, which made it a 10.
Disliked: There are MAJOR work being done just in front of the property (very noisy and dusty). As a result, I wouldn’t go back until the work is completed … but would definitely go back when done.

Exceptional

Excellent location, friendly staff, amazing...

Liked: The hotel was centrally located by the Calle De Las Tiendas, which means easy access to loads of bars and restaurants, and also that the Alcabanza (a key sight to see!) is only a short walk away. The staff were great, really friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and well cleaned and maintained. There's a rooftop pool which also has a fancy drinks vending machine (including cava and spirits). Finally, the hotel has a spa/baths as their main attraction. These baths are incredible, and we did the baths experience in two nights when there, featuring thermal pools, a salt bath, steam room and jacuzzi baths. Guests at the hotel get up to 25% off the spa prices (day dependent) if they book when staying at the hotel, so when me and my partner did the 90 mins spa baths experience, it was only €75 - which is a bargain for what you'd pay in England!

Very enjoyable!

Liked: We booked a junior suite and it included breakfast. The room was big, the bed was large and comfortable and it was very clean. We enjoyed some time in the ancient baths which I would recommend. The staff were fantastic - friendly, polite and professional.

Lovely hotel in good location...

Liked: Good central location with excellent view of Alcazaba . Room was nice and spacious . Visit to the roof top pool was lovely.
Disliked: The staff appeared negative and the first thing they would say “ it is not possible “ ; for example… it was not possible to view the ancient baths before paying 70 euros each , nor possible to purchase parking tickets in advance .. when in fact we could … The breakfast buffet was good ( adequate for 18 euros) on the first Saturday; however on Sunday , it was awful … the pre-prepared omelettes were still frozen : the ham was cold and the buns stale . The kitchen staff seemed more interested in warming her own breakfast , than preparing ours . It was definitely not worth 18 euros .
