Cool vibe, dirty room.

Liked: Check in staff and bartender were very good. Bar and lobby area were fantastic. Very cool decor and fee.
Disliked: The area rug was absolutely FILTHY. It was, quite literally, sticky. My feet stuck to it. When I put my sandals on, my feet were so sticky from the rug that they stuck to my shoes. My shoes stuck to the rug. Unfortunately, we did not discover this until too late in the night to ask to change rooms. Told the check out staff and, while pleasant, seem very unconcerned.

Remodeled mid-tier "urban" style hotel...

Liked: From our recent stay vs. a litany of complaints on past reviews, it appears they have taken many of those criticisms and fixed the majority of them.... or folks just like to complain or think they are going to get an Embassy Suites-esque experience for half the price. The hotel is an old Ramada, recently remodeled in an urban style with exposed conduit, unfinished concrete ceilings, etc. The breakfast included in the room price was outstanding for a Saturday during a non-football weekend. Texas waffle maker, biscuits & gravy, bacon, sausage patties, fresh fruit salad, bagels, yogurt, OJ, coffee...dont know what folks are expecting for $165 on a Saturday night stay in the fall, but I can't take a family of 4 out to a non-fast-food breakfast for less than $60.
Disliked: Elevator needs some work on the finishings, if it's supposed to look urban/steam punk, they missed the mark. Common occurrence across all hotels, guests need to learn how to close a door without shaking the entire hall and waking up guests at 6AM.

Convenient, trendy place to stay.

Liked: It was very stylish. Rooms were spacious
Disliked: Downstairs bathrooms needed attention. Appeared that no one checked on them.
