Small boutique hotel

Liked: Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a short walk to a market and several great restaurants. The breakfast included was delicious, cooked to order with a variety of choices.
Disliked: The rooms were small. And since our room faced the street, there was traffic and street noise.. My major gripe with this hotel was the lack of communication regarding the airport transfer. On departure, asked the hotel to call a taxi to take us to the airport. They told me the price, which I knew to be about triple the rate we had paid for the taxi that dropped us off the day before. However, I agreed to the price. I was not informed that the fee would be charged to my credit card. When the car arrived, it was not a taxi but an English speaking guide/private driver service. Hence the higher cost. We paid the driver the agreed upon amount in cash upon arrival at the airport, only to discover when we returned home that my credit card had been charged for the amount. So we're paid twice due to their poor communication.

Disliked: No key to front entrance gate which means you have to wait for staff to come open it. Sometimes they didn’t answer the bell because they were away from the desk and didn’t hear the ringing for 5 minutes as I stood outside waiting. Solution: give guests a gate key. They allow all ages which means when guests bring an infant, you can hear it crying since it’s a small boutique hotel. Next door to one of Mexico City’s famous coffee chains.

Exceptional hotel, outstanding guest service!

Liked: Fantastic experience! The best hotel we've stayed at in Mexico! Most comfortable bed and pillows, great shower, delicious and varied breakfast, with modern dishes as well as traditional ones. The location was also perfect, in the heart of Coyoacan, a green and very charming neighbourhood. The staff is so caring, friendly and warm! They go above and beyond to make sure that the guests feel pampered! There was no need that went unanswered. We feel grateful for the wonderful days we spent here! Special thanks to Ximena and the entire staff!
