1 star hotel

Disliked: Room was cold had baseboard heating that did not heat the room. No warm blanket on the bed or a spare. Was on ground floor room and heard every sound from room above people walking and making noise. Left hotel and found another one

Liked: Location is good as it is walking distance to downtown. The room was large and had adequate furniture and a nice patio.
Disliked: Very dated with old carpet and decor. Our toilet would not flush in the morning. I went down to front desk at 735 and called the number provided, as the office was closed. No one answered. When the office opened at 8 am Sergio answered and I told him the problem. He said that I could plunge the toilet. I said that I shouldn’t have to do that as a guest. I asked if he could move us to a room with a working toilet. He said he would come up amd plunge it. He did and then the toilet worked once then had same problem. He was rude to my partner when she went to check out

Liked: convenience to shopping and eating. we walked everywhere.
Disliked: Better mattresses, they were uncomfortable

Booked at the last minute...

Liked: Check in was easy, hostess was pleasant and helpful. King room with fireplace and ocean view was spacious. Easy to use fireplace. Location was perfectly located within walking distance of shopping, restaurants, and little market. Free and easy parking in lower level garage. Within range for Instacart to deliver from Safeway.
Disliked: A little dated and dingy but didn’t feel uncomfortable.

I would definitely choose this...

Liked: This hotel had a really cool vibe in a perfect spot downtown. Loved the ocean view and breeze. I also really liked the parking setup. Very accessible and convenient.
Disliked: The place is a little aged but that part sort of felt fine for this property. It was clean.
