was extremely poor

Liked: So apparently because I am a local I could not stay and was rejected for the night. I am not a rude person and do not take drugs however I was classed as 'too local' to stay.This is my country and city and was rejected by ignorant people
Disliked: I do not like the policies because the owners are clearly too scared of locals

Liked: Comfortable bed.
Disliked: The worst is that your locker is without a padlock, you must buy it for 10 AUD.

It was okay

Liked: The shared space was big and nice.
Disliked: The mattress was really uncomfortable, really hard, and the room was cold and not comfortable at all. Also the walls by the showers in the bathroom were super low that any person over 170cm could look over it.

Liked: The hostel is walking distance to Central Market and Chinatown, where are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets. Furthermore, it is also close to Rundle Mall and State Library of South Australia. What's more, the bed was comfy and the shower (water pressure) was good. The kitchen was wonderful , which also provided hot water and cold water 24/7. We stayed at a 4 beds dorm that had plenty of space to put our belongings. Windows were big so that the room was bright and comfortable even without turning on the air-condition. Also, the room was quiet so that we had very good sleep at night. The car park was just ext to the hostel, which was very convenient. YHA Adelaide Central is one of the best hostels I have ever stayed.

Exceptional

Liked: The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was surprisingly quiet and the bed was the most comfortable ever!I like that this place is environmentally aware and takes steps to limit waste and reduce their carbon footprint.

Liked: How accommodating the staff were Around the clock reception
Disliked: The shower head was to short so you had to stay close to the wall as I have 8 discs in my back damaged it caused alot of discomfort
