Liked: The location is great, right in the city centre, yet the area is quiet at night. We also liked the fact the hotel was in a historic building. The front-desk staff were nice.
Disliked: The room on the first floor near the staircase was really noisy, we could hear other guests coming and going, we could also hear people talking in the neighbouring room. All in all, it was not really comfortable. Also, the amenities were rather basic - just little paper bags of shower gel were provided.

Liked: The room was clean, quiet and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. It's situated in the old town, but it's quite close to the main roads.
Disliked: It would have been great to have a mini fridge, a kettle or even a coffee machine in the room, especially knowing that there's no breakfast available.

Perfect base for exploring the...

Liked: The hotel was in an excellent central location albeit very quiet for a good night's sleep. The room whilst basic was absolutely perfect for a short stay and the staff could not have been more helpful.
Disliked: There really was not anything as all was as expected. On a very personal basis, pillows could have been softer but the ones in the room did not stop me getting a good sleep.

Ad Hoc Carmen is a...

Liked: The hotel is in a 15th century building but has all the modern conveniences. Easy to find and staff was very helpful. We loved the small deck- perfect for wine under the stars. We visited 6 years ago and hope to return.
Disliked: Nothing.
