Disappointed

Liked: Location, views, coffee, wine tasting
Disliked: 2nd stay here in 6 months. Bed was awful with lumpy, old mattress. Air conditioning did not work and we were told too bad. We stayed here 6 months ago and had a great mattress and the air conditioning was working perfectly. Difficult for me to give this hotel a good rating when the stay was so unpleasant. It was a very unpleasant night.

Pricey, comfortable place for a...

Liked: Food and Beverages: wine and cheese hour, cookies, breakfast buffet. Free parking.
Disliked: Seemed sterile and cold. Noise from very busy road.

Exceptional

Liked: Everything was perfect! From the moment Genevieve greeted us through breakfast before departure, the hotel and staff were amazing. Clean, comfortable, well appointed room offered sound sleep in beautiful surroundings. Bonus evening happy hour with local wine, cheese and fruits. Thoughtful in room birthday amenity to celebrate as well.

All in all overall one...

Liked: Cleanliness and overall amenities, not to forget the absolutely wonderful complimentary breakfast.
Disliked: For me there are a few too many lights from outlets, clock etc. that stay continually illuminated. I need a dark room to get good sleep and these were a bit bothersome for me. Also, the hotel is literally right next to the freeway so if you want to sleep in and are bothered by traffic sounds probably not best choice.

Adorable retreat and perfect jumping...

Liked: Had a huge room with a wood burning fireplace and a beautiful view over the bay. Loved the complimentary wine and snacks in the evening and the breakfasts were amazing, wish I’d asked for the frittata recipe!
Disliked: Location was a little clumsy, across a bridge from the junction so we couldn’t access that it on foot or by bike.

Exceptional

Liked: it was great location, very peaceful.
Disliked: The room was pretty small.

Felt Special

Liked: Clean, staff are exceptional, breakfast & evening wine & cheese is great. Cookies are yummy. The breakfast staff are exceptional and always helpful. The front staff (Genevieve) especially is very kind, helpful, cheerful. She is a people person with great customer service skills.
Disliked: Great spot, great water view and all staff are very friendly!
