Liked: The location is great, right in the centre of a vibrant place, able to get around the city easily. One of the staff was very welcoming a young lady from Hungary (I think, I can’t remember) she was very informative telling us that the coffee machines are free in the morning, whereas the man left us thinking that we had to pay €7 for a coffee from a coffee machine in the reception as there was no kettle in the room. She was also the one who greeted us when we first arrived making us feel welcomed. We arrived quite early so we asked if we could leave our luggage at the hotel before checking in and they accommodated.
Disliked: One room for 2 people, for 2 nights was €200, in late March. I know Amsterdam is an expensive place, but with this price I expected there to be more amenities, we were given plastic cups in the room, and the bathroom is a wet room. Where if we shower the water will get everywhere as there was no curtain or door to block the water, so I recommend using the toilet or sink before showering, your socks will be soaked. Also if you have bad legs so trouble getting upstairs maybe this place is not for you, as there are no lift only steep staircases.
