Contemporary and Comfortable
Liked: The interiors were beautiful and modern, and the staff were all exceptionally kind and helpful. The lobby bar had great drinks, and while I didn't dine in the restaurant, I ordered room service for a few different meals and it was all exquisite. The area is amazing too, right off Queen St W, so there were lots of places to go eat and shop. If you like walking, it was very convenient to walk to Ossington, Kensington Market, U of T, Little Portugal, Little Korea, etc. The room itself was sleek and comfortable-- even though I was in the smallest option it still felt very hotel-y. I appreciated all of the bath and body care products. The mini fridge was well stocked with a variety of snack and beverage options.
Disliked: The one and only thing that could have improved my stay were slippers in the room :)

Disruptive, loud, disappointing
Disliked: Room was very loud into the middleOf the night, but can accept that being downtown. What was disappointing was at 7am you could hear people talking coming from the vents in our room. You could hear the entire conversation. Very disappointing that we’d be able to hear other guests through the vents given the caliber of hotel we’ve expected from the Ace.

10/10 would recommend
Liked: Hands down one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Staff was lovely and so helpful (they even accepted a delivery and stored a parcel for me), we loved the design and atmosphere of the hotel and the room was simply amazing with all the little touches like the retro bluetooth radio and the botanical shower gel. Our room on the 15th floor had an incredible view of the CN tower! The restaurants and the rooftop bar are super chic too. The hotel is located in the trendy Fashion District with a nice park, food hall, boutiques, cafes and restaurant nearby - we liked Nutbar, The Burger’s Priest, Bagels on Fire and General Assembly Pizza
Disliked: Just be mindful that the room is on the small side, it was a bit tricky to find a place for our suitcases (they didn’t fit in the wardrobe) and we were travelling with hand luggage only

Good location.
Liked: Great location
Disliked: So many tiny issues in the room that add up to constant annoyances. The light switches were very hard to work--the point of spending minutes trying to turn off one set of lights before bed. There's no place in the bathroom to place your own shower supplies; there's no place to put glasses while taking a shower; because I don't like to unpack my suitcase entirely, but like to be able to access my clothes in it, it was a problem that there's no place to put your suitcase except the floor. One night the fire alarm went off at 2:00 am and we were standing around the sidewalk. No staff told us what was going on.
