Liked: Friendly owner and near lake
Disliked: Slippery shower which is not safe for older people. Had asked for new towels and owner said we would but.. never did get any new towels. Room not serviced but that was ok

Great location and a friendlt...

Liked: A fantastic location, just across the road from the lake, with other facilities like restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The room was very clean and well-ordered, and the host is professional, helpful and informative. The ability to bring our dogs is greatly appreciated and there is a reserve behind the motel which is great for walks.

Exceptional

Liked: Always stay here on our way to Wellington from the far North. Great stop especially as we can bring our dog

Liked: Very clean, quiet, beds were comfortable & unit has everything you need. Great friendly Staff.
Disliked: The only thing I didn't like was the pillows were flat & all the same. Would be nice to have a few to choose from for a more comfortable sleep.

Perfect place for a stop...

Liked: Staff was very helpful when we left some items behind. They made sure the were available when we returned to collect them.

Exceptional

Liked: The motel is located in the perfect location. It was perfect for nipping over the road to get a drink and go for a swim in the lake. The room was much larger than expected and was fantastic for what we needed.
Disliked: The general motel wall paper, carpet, kitchens etc is dated and batch vibes but it is perfect for the price and location!
