El Yunque Tropical Forest and the caves of River Camuy National Park are near the Acacia in San Juan. Activities including scuba diving and snorkeling are available minutes from the hotel. The staff at the hotel will be happy to coordinate for guests visits to local attractions and historical site. The Acacia Boutique Hotel is just 20-minutes' drive from the airport and Old San Juan. We don't have parking available however this area is known for being a nice walkable area; you'll find restaurants beach and shops. There are few private parking nearby that you can use if you have a car.

Our new annual spot

Liked: This place is a hidden gem in my opinion. It’s such a beauty inside and old with the brick showers and stone balconies. The staff are all family members and went above and beyond to make our first time in Puerto Rico amazing!

Liked: This is one of my favorite hotels in PR. The location to the beach and walk-ability around the area is top notch.
Disliked: Staff isn’t to hospitable and you had to find them most of the time.

Disliked: Bed too small (feet hung over), mattress uncomfortable, AC unit loud and leaking (pool if water on floor), room was tiny, mold in bathroom, etc.

It was honestly beautiful and...

Liked: It felt more cultural.The staff was amazing! Especially Joanna!(I believe that’s her name) Close to the beach!
