Nice hotel in Condado San...
Liked: The location was excellent, and the room and overall facility were decent but comfortable. I really enjoyed being so close to the beach and Condado area.
Disliked: The pool was infront of other rooms

Affordable hotel in San Juan
Liked: Quaint hotel - very nice staff. AC worked too good at times. Walking distance to good dining.
Disliked: We were on the first floor and voices from the lobby carried to the room. The parking was a downer since there was none on site. Typically had to park 2-4 blocks away. TVs didn’t work but we didn’t care. The pool was heated and this sounds like whining but it was about almost as hot as a hot tub. Too hot after a humid day. We are used to having free coffee available or a coffee maker in the room, didn’t have either, but could walk a half block to the sister hotel if we wanted one.

Dirty
Liked: Good location close to the beach and artsy setting
Disliked: There was no manager on site at night. Our first night the fire alarm went off and the second someone was banging on the door for hours in the middle of the night. There was no WiFi in the room or hot water.

99% awesome.
Liked: Really nice and clean and quaint property. This was our second time staying at Acacia and we loved the feel of the place! The rooms we all stayed in (a group of some 10 people) were comfortable. The staff was generally helpful and did their best to fulfill requests. Would recommend staying here!
Disliked: Toiletries in the bathroom would be a nice touch though not obligatory. The biggest problem was a lack of staffing during the overnight hours and signage. By that I mean that on our last night at about 4:15AM, a smoke detector went off. There was no signage at the front desk instructing who we should call in such an overnight emergency situation. Had to call 911 in order to get someone from the sister property to come over. There IS such a number sign, but on the door OUTSIDE of the property. Absolutely needs to be at the front desk counter as well. This caused several of my fellow guests to lose at least an hour of badly needed sleep.
