It was a decent stay.

Liked: I liked the room we were in. It was relaxing without distractions because we were off to the side. The gentleman at check-in was nice, and he made us laugh. He has wonderful people skills. KEEP HIM!
Disliked: My bed wasn’t clean as it should’ve been. There were a few crumbs in the sheets, but I slept on my own blankets. There was also white residue on the left side of the curtains. It was probably overlooked, but it wasn’t a major problem. I also thought that $18 was a bit steep for a small waffle since I booked based on free breakfast. I wasn’t aware of the price for an omelette or waffle when booking. The hostess/ server want the worst, but the tables weren’t clean. He did come to clean the tables, but once he realized we weren’t buying hot breakfast, he didn’t say anything to us.

Clean, sleek QUIET hotel near...

Liked: Sunday breakfast was limited grab and go - packages store bought. Sunday is only morning we were there. All other days there is a chef making hot breakfast to order. Check in staff was apologetic about this. So for Sundays plan to walk to one of the brunch spots a block or two away or embrace a cup of cereal - some fruit and make your own toast. Coffee/Tea always available and good! Lounge is very comfortable and fireplace.
Disliked: Hotel is situated mid block on small side street with no curb cut so no lingering drop offs. (Tradeoff: It's QUIET!) Public Parking is across street but no in-out privileges. Valet can offer in-out privileges but very expensive. Street parking is challenging in this neighborhood especially at night and weekends due to shopping and restaurants. St Louis is not a public transport town.

Liked: The staff where amazing , super helpful and friendly, the room and bathroom where really spacious
Disliked: Cleaning could be better, some corners of the room clearly haven't been dusted in a while , there were only 2 disposable coffe cups and no regular cups to use and when the 2 cups where used they weren't replaced
