Good location for New York...

Liked: Location was brilliant, close to subway, Times Square and Empire State Building. Room was spacious. Free small bottles of water available in reception was good.
Disliked: We were given an accessible room with wet room, and lower wardrobe which couldn't hang my dresses. We booked a King room not an accessible room. Not as soundproof as other hotels I've stayed in New York and the noise of the traffic / street was very loud.

Disliked: Reception staff absolutely not available to help. I asked to keep the room a couple of hours more than the usual check out, to let the child sleep in her crib (having difficulty sleeping elsewhere) and they asked me the outrageous sum of more than $ 160. I asked to be able to at least bring the crib to a downstair area where there are bathrooms and a public gym and they still said NO.When booking I asked for a room at least a little quiet for the child to sleep and instead they gave me a room on the 9th floor where you could hear every type of noise: absurd.

Liked: The location was pretty good. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Disliked: My only complaint was the temperature of the water. The water was not hot and we could not take a proper shower. We advised the hotel and we were told that it was standard hotel temperature. I asked them to please increase the temperature by a couple of degrees but it did not get hotter until our third night stay. I have stayed at many hotels and that was the first time I have had any issues with the water temperature. I had two rooms in this hotel and both had the same issue with the water.

Liked: Initial interaction with concierge upon arrival was wonderful. Very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Unfortunately I can’t recall his name. Provided us with suggestions on where to go for lunch and other places to go while we waited for our room.
Disliked: Following our initial interaction and arrival back to the hotel following our lunch and outing, the vibe had changed. Staff were rude and unhelpful. There is a staff member by the name of Sasha who should not be working behind the front desk of a luxury hotel in NYC. Extremely rude and unwelcoming. The concierge and front desk staff require improvement. A little smile goes a long way!! They should try it.
