Liked: The highlight was the dining experience at the restaurant, which featured a charming ambiance enhanced by a talented live artist. The combination of great music and a cozy atmosphere created an enjoyable and memorable dining experience. The food was delicious, exceeding our expectations. The waiters were attentive to our requests. This aspect of our stay was lovely and worth a visit.
Disliked: I recently had the opportunity to travel with my young family and residing at AC Hotel Marriot Honolulu. I must express my concerns regarding the safety and overall experience in the surrounding area. Unfortunately, the environment did not feel conducive to allowing children to run around freely, which is a significant consideration for any family.Upon our arrival, we encountered challenges with our luggage. The staff responsible for assisting with our bags were unhelpful, which made navigating through the entrance to our rooms particularly difficult. This was especially frustrating as we were managing young children while attempting to maneuver our belongings, all in the midst of a busy roadway.Additionally, the presence of individuals experiencing homelessness in close proximity to the building raised concerns about safety and comfort. This aspect of the environment contributed to our unease during our stay.Furthermore, I was taken aback by the constant unexpected fees that were not disclosed prior to our booking. I learned of a destination fee and an incidental fee at checkout, which impacted our overall budget. In retrospect, the total cost of our stay ended up being comparable to that of other hotels in Waikiki, which would have provided a more favorable and safe experience.In summary, the combination of safety concerns, inadequate assistance, and hidden fees led to a disappointing experience during our short family layover. I believe that addressing these issues could greatly enhance the experience for future guests, particularly those traveling with young children.

Liked: The cleaning was so bad. Very dirty
Disliked: I booked it but the property cancelled it all of a sudden. I waited for 5 hours at the lobby only to find out that the property owner cancelled my reservation
