Stylish and comfortable hotel in...

Liked: The property was clean, stylish and in a great central downtown location. We were staying in the standard king room, and it was a good size for 2 people. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. The staff were absolutely amazing, super helpful and very pleasant. I wish we had had time to check out their rooftop bar, it looked beautiful. Make sure to make time for that
Disliked: We booked through booking.com, and during check in I went to swipe my card and it declined. I found out I was being charged double the amount my booking reservation was. I showed the receptionist my booking.com information again, and after some time he was able to correct it and I was able to pay…but had it not been such a high amount for ny card to decline, I wouldnt have known I was getting charged a much higher amount until I looked at my bank statement. The receptionist said this has happened before with booking.com, so make sure you ask how much youre being charged before swiping.We also had an issue with our thermostat in the room. It was winter, and the room said it was set to 65 but it felt super hot. So we looked and the actual temp was 76. We werent spending a lot of time in our room, and I thought maybe it was one of those things where we had to be in the room for it to actual cool down? The second night it got up to 78. I had wanted to say something to the reception desk, but we also didnt want to deal with switching rooms after midnight. We did tell the front desk on the day of our check out, hopefully it was just our room with the issue and not all of the rooms.
