Very good

Liked: Excellent location. Concierge Parking a Bonus and worth the 17€ per day to have onsite parking in a city centre.Room cleaned impeccably everyday.Reception staff very helpful.
Disliked: Breakfast Basic.Poor lighting in room. We did ask for a bulb in one of the lights to be replaced, which in fairness it was, but went again within 24 hours.Shower was an over the bath set up, not a problem, but it was above average height from floor. I'm 5ft 8 and had to hold onto the door to step out, accident waiting to happen.Finally but my biggest bug bare....AIR CON. Yes, I know it was January but as a woman of a certain age I expect to be able to cool myself down. Air Con only worked on warm!! When I asked at reception I was told they don't have it working on Cool Air in the Winter months as it was 7 degrees in a morning...yes it was....but it also got up to 25 on the same afternoon. But that is not the point, I paid for a room that specified it has AC, not heat only and surely the customer should be able to choose the temperature they wish the room to be? We tried having the window open but the main Air Con system was below our window as extremely noisy so not an option. In all fairness, the reception staff did offer to move us to a front room which was apparently cooler but we have stayed in front rooms before and the road noise etc is a total pain.It wouldn't stop me staying again but I do think the AC issue needs addressing as i have never come across this in any other hotel 😊
