Liked: Great water pressure in the shower, rooms good size and comfy bed, great location near the beach.
Disliked: Fridge size is ridiculous - would be nice to have a freezer section big enough for 2 x freezer packs. Would be nice to have at least a microwave oven and a small dining table. Looks like the rooms had a small upgrade over the years - certainly not enough done, the bathrooms are all original looking from when it first opened in 1989! Could hear people in next room, sound proofing? Room service would have been good.

Great location with access to...

Liked: The room was large and had a great balcony. The sea view was great and so many birds flying around. The restaurant food was Ok but overprices, but acceptable for Coffs Harbour.
Disliked: The hotel is very dated and feels a bit sad. I imagine Covid lockdowns really set this hotel backwards in terms of funding for upgrades and maintenance. The hotel is very large, so there is a lot of work to do. The foyer needs the most work and they could improve the feel with some minor renovations. The rooms are good, but it is a long walk from the carpark with luggage. There was a queue at the entry so we couldn't unload our bags as there was no concierge, so we parked the car then walked to the hotel. We got drinks from the bar and asked if we could take them to the outdoor smoking area, which was fine, but the bar attendant made us promise to bring the glasses back to the bar afterwards. That's fine, but it's really not that difficult for staff to collect empty glasses from tables. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, the food was fine, but overpriced and smaller services, 'shrink-flation' again. The restaurant staff were lovely. This hotel has the potential to be a great hotel (and charge more per night) if they renovate and improve the facilities. A shame but the cost of the room does offer value for money.

Disliked: The resort is due for a paint and an update. The shower overflowed into the main room.
