Liked: Great location. Pleasant kitchen with a lovely view of the water. Beds were comfy and cleaned regularly. Pretty quiet, we were able to sleep early, definitely not a party hostel.
Disliked: The residual body odour from the room took some getting used to each time, but the room was otherwise clean.

Great view and central location...

Liked: We were in the ensuite double room at the top corner overlooking the lake and the view was fantastic.The hostel is in a very central location for all the activities, bars and restaurants.
Disliked: Felt very expensive compared to a better and cheaper hostel we stayed in at Christchurch, but maybe that is Queenstown prices and we were paying for the lovely view. The bed was very firm and would benefit from a topper!No hairdryer is provided in the double ensuite room, so you have to keep getting it from reception.It was very noisy till early hours of the morning from surrounding bars, but to be expected with it's location. I recommend having ear plugs if you like an early night.
