Overall a great stay and...

Liked: Location is excellent. Staff were friendly and accommodating. It is easy to find and you can't beat the location. Would stay here again for sure. the bedroom we had was very late and spacious
Disliked: The rooms are a little dated. Bathrooms feel they could use a spruce up and deep clean. The window rattles when windy outside so this should be adjusted.

Liked: we have been coming to the above for the last few years before Christmas to link up with some friends and this year was not up.to standard especially waiting for breakfast. They were short staffed and this impacted the service. Otherwise it was ok. The staff did an excellent job in trying to sort out things. Big thank you to the reception staff.

Lovely stay in Canterbury.

Liked: Staff were excellent, as was the breakfast, which was cooked to order. The hotel is in the centre of the city which is very convenient.The hotel is nicely appointed with a very pleasant and welcoming bar area.Comfortable rooms and bed.
Disliked: We had to park away from the hotel due to its central location and cost £45 but we knew about this in advance.One major problem was that the credit card debit of £150 per room was fine, but after we left, the amount, less our charges, were not refunded but added to plus a further £138 was added. This left our credit card with a debit of over £450!! A number of calls took place before the hotel corrected this 24 hours later!Not a good advert, an unusual issue, but sort it out quicker Abode.

Lovely, centrally located hotel

Liked: Located in the town centre central for both shops and restaurants.
Disliked: The hotel does have a car park but it only holds a maximum of approx 12 cars for which they charge £18 per day, so if fully booked you do not stand much of a chance getting a space meaning you have to park elsewhere.

Beautiful hotel, prime location

Liked: Great location, beautiful hotel and room.
Disliked: Very loud with people walking by late at night and really early, no consideration from other guests. Breakfast could have been included in the high price we paid for the room.

Liked: Nice old building, nice bar and dinning area.
Disliked: In need of renovation, bathroom in need of updating.

Superb

Nice break comfortable hotel but...

Liked: Location was perfect. The bar area was very cosy and relaxing.
Disliked: The breakfast was very poor and didn’t match the quality of the hotel. They had ran out of hash browns and also the presentation and quality of the food was disappointing. We were going to book and eat in the restaurant that evening but after breakfast we decided not to which is a shame.
