Beautiful old pub

Liked: Beautiful old pub, loved the history and character of the hotel. The room was comfortable and clean. Food in the bistro and cafe was nice. Lovely beer garden. Staff friendly and accommodating.
Disliked: The room was over priced, communal women’s bathroom had one toilet to share between all rooms. For the price we paid, there was no milk in the kitchen to make a cuppa and no tap for water to fill the kettle, you needed to take the kettle to the bathroom. If the room was under $100 I would have had no complaints. We were there for wedding and can only feel the price we paid was because of our circumstances. Not the best location but was perfect for us due to the wedding.

Great value - perfect for...

Liked: Cosy room and perfect for a stay over in the Hunter Valley. Very friendly & relaxed welcome from the lady there. For the price, we were very happy and everything was nice and clean. Good selection of craft beers in the bar and the coffee shop downstairs in the morning was very nice, and the beer garden was lovely.
Disliked: All good!
