Cold, dated, no hot water

Liked: Centrally located in Tarland, nice view over the square.
Disliked: No hot water in the shower and no staff around to ask about it, crack in the window and a general musty smell to the place, needs an overhaul and some life injected into it. Requested a refund for the lack of hot water which I feel is reasonable however staff replied saying I was wrong and declined the refund.

Liked: Not a lot. But the beds were comfortable.
Disliked: Cleanliness. Clothes rail above the microwave. Room very cramped.

I would not return to...

Liked: There wasn't any breakfast but I was welcomed quite warmly. However the room looked as if it needed a good vacuum clean and although the heating was on when I arrived, the heating did not come on in the morning and so room was very cold since they had opened the window which I could not close. I could not get any hot water in the bathroom sink.
Disliked: Room could have been cleaner - the bathroom floor did not seem clean. No heating in the morning and no hot waterin the morning.

Liked: I did not have breakfast because the place was dirt , the tables were sticky from alcohol spills . The whole place smells of alcohol.

Perfect for my requirements.

Liked: I like the welcoming staff and warm atmosphere, good parking in the lovely village, quiet location, fine comfortable room with all facilities I need in and around the premises.

Disliked: The shower was terrible. It wouldn’t stay hot or cold, very miserable.
