Liked: We did not stay there, the rooms and hotel were terribly substandard and dirty. The desk clerk was sneaking pictures of us on his phone while we pointed out the uncleanliness. We had to leave and find another room after midnight after a long flight home. We quickly learned this hotel has a bad reputation among locals. This was a terrible experience and I've asked my credit card to reverse the charges.

A great place to stay,...

Liked: Location close to Costco and airport
Disliked: Comfy bed plus good pillow and decent coffee.plus a kettle!

I would recommend this for...

Liked: We stayed here for 2 nights for the Eras Tour concert. They had the cheapest room rate during that time which is not too far from the stadium. Location is close to the airport, skytrain, stores, restaurants, etc which is good. They first gave us an uncleaned room so we asked if they can clean it but they gave us a new room instead which was wayyyy better than the first one. The washroom is more updated and room smells pleasant. Staffs were friendly and helpful esp the lady in the breakfast room!
Disliked: Limited breakfast options but it’s better than nothing so i’m still giving a 10/10 for the good experience

Disliked: the breakfast wa the worst no flavor felt like day old the charger was ot working which made ]it difficult to charge

Not a good reflection on...

Liked: It was an available hotel room in Vancouver ... I had a place to sleep out of the rain.
Disliked: An elevator that I didn't fear for my life every time I got into ... call lights that were cracked and didn't work, signs telling me what to do if the door wouldn't close, signs on one of the two elevators saying it was out of order.A peephole in the door that was missing and had been replaced with paper towel stuffed into the hole.A missing transition between the (cracked) tile bathroom flooring and the carpet in the main part of the room.A stray hair hanging from the side of the shower from a (long-departed?) other guest.

A Haven for a weary...

Liked: Gavin was professional and courteous and knowledgeable,. A nice welcome after a gruelling 11 hours air travel
Disliked: There was nothing I didn't like about the Abercorn. The restaurant within the complex was excellent.

Very good

Liked: The room’s rug had only been vacuumed in the middle of the room. The bathtub had visible stains. Wish the tv remote had been cleaned then sealed in plastic. Bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Excellent front desk staff, free airport shuttle.
Disliked: Carpet and dust.
