Stay had ups and downs

Liked: The character of the lodge is our favorite. Close to town makes it convenient.
Disliked: Food in the restaurant can only be described as fair. We only had breakfast, and it was buffet style. We do not mind buffet style breakfast, and we arrived very early. Food was either cold or possibly left from the day before. I had to cut my lukewarm pancakes with a knife. If we stay again, we will go into town for food.

Liked: Beautiful facility which was clean and staff very nice. Loved the water park.
Disliked: Had to turn the heat up very high because the cold was coming through the window. Restaurant had limited items to choose from and felt that the food was not up to par for the price.

Liked: Everything was great. A light to have one that isn't over the bed when people are still sleeping would be beneficial

Kind staff, not worth price

Liked: It's nice being in the park and having the pool and slide. The staff was always kind and helpful.
Disliked: The price is really high, especially considering how worn the room was, not super clean, and no breakfast. I don't think we will return to the lodge.

Great family resort

Liked: The staff were amazing. They were very helpful with all of our question. We loved the pool and the new updated room.
Disliked: We really loved everything.

Hidden gem! Great family spot

Liked: Such a sweet place! It feels like a hidden gem in southern Indiana. The hotel itself is really charming and fun. The swimming area was great for all ages. It was fun to walk around and hangout in the different nooks and sitting areas
Disliked: The rooms could be a little cozier and nicer, needs some updating
