Great place to stay in...

Liked: Good location in the City centre. Room nicely laid out and decorated. Clean and tidy. Friendly helpful staff.
Disliked: Nothing really. Minor niggles. Bathroom was a little grubby (e.g. limescale on shower fittings) and not much storage space around sink or in shower. Hotel layout was a bit odd (old converted building), with needing to go up and down stairs to get to room.

Liked: My room was upgraded to superior at no extra cost and without asking. The bathroom and bedroom were light and spacious. The bed was very comfortable - I don't normally sleep well away from my own bed but I slept like a log!
Disliked: The coffee machine took a little getting used to but it was nice to have ground coffee instead of a packet of freeze dried.

Liked: The hotel was really central. The bar was nice with good cocktails and staff were friendly
Disliked: My room had apparently been upgraded which I wouldn’t have been able to tell. One set of lights beside the bed wasn’t working. One window wouldn’t shut (double glaze part) and my room was overlooking a busy street so the noise from people drinking was quite loud and went on quite late. If they fixed the window that probably would have helped the noise
