An ideal B&B to explore...

Liked: Studio apartment was perfect for our needs. All the amenities were there. Spacious and well equipped. 10 minutes walk to the beautiful Hagley Park where there is a Botanical Garden to enjoy the many varieties of flowers in full bloom.The hostess was charming and very helpful. The breakfast was a continental type and it was ample. There is even a laundry for guests to use.. The Riccarton area where the B&B is located offers a number of restaurants where you can eat.
Disliked: The security of the back door could be improved.

Money and location is pretty...

Liked: Accessibility to anything in the city
Disliked: Laundry area and back dirty. The sofa bed is very uncomfortable. But the room is clean.

Disliked: The lock from the window in the kitchen was broken en the sink in the bathroom didnt work very well (low water pressure)

Liked: I always stay here for the beer festival, the price is very reasonable and the units are spacious and comfortable, if a little basic.Customer service is always top notch too
Disliked: My only complaint is the units are hot in the height of summer. I'll have to book a stay in winter as I've seen other reviews saying they were nice and warm when cold out!

Not a good place to...

Liked: Just the arrangement of the towels.
Disliked: No Fan or Aircondition. It was summer so we end up opening all the windows for ventalation, the problem was insect were coming in.Another thing was the toilet door cannot be locked. It was old and seems untidy

We had a great time...

Liked: Spacious, clean, excellent location close to everything, had a coin laundry, good kitchen with all cooking items and dinnerware.
Disliked: Lighting was a bit dim in the bathroom and toilet

Liked: Close to Hagley Park and city centre, 2 beds for 2 restless sleepers, friendly staff, able to charge my electric car, well equipped kitchenette, small outdoor yard
Disliked: putting on sheets covering the blanket for hygiene
