Very good

Liked: The location, views and sweet animals are worth a stay, if you can look past the rustic and rundown state of the property. The cabin was very well equipped, warm, comfortable and clean. The views of Mount Roland are spectacular and the animals including baby ducks and chickens were super cute. The cottages are private and far enough apart that you almost feel like you're the only ones there. The staff member was kind and helpful.
Disliked: The cottages are classic Tassie shacks but sadly are pretty run down and in need of repair, lots of peeling paint and an old/damp smell. There are definitely some people who would not be comfortable here.

Comfortable, cosy cottage with amazing...

Liked: Very comfortable cottage with amazing views. The kitchen provided us with all we needed to prepare an evening meal and the gas heater and electric blankets on the beds made the cottage warm and cosy. The farm animals are an added bonus and the location is unsurpassed.

Stunning location, great value stay

Liked: Fantastic location and this place was obviously a thriving place a few years ago.Feeling a little tired now by comparison to other places that we have stayed in Tassie recently.However very comfortable with everything you need for a lengthy stay if required.
Disliked: Just felt a little tired and dated.Cockerel had me awake at 4am and that was the end of my nights sleep unfortunately

Liked: Great location.Gorgeous, fully equipped cabins.Very homely.Donkeys, horses, Highland cows, ducks and birds all around, so cool!
Disliked: NA

Accomodation on a budget for...

Liked: The kids enjoyed feeding the animals and exploring the interesting surrounding gardens.
Disliked: Accomodation and games room need some love. The kitchen could do with a full set of bowls, glasses, etc. The wi-fi was down.
